RARE Mellerio silver-plated champagne bucket for Perrier-Jouet 1940s
DESCRIPTION
Mellerio dits Meller is a French jewelry house, founded in 1613, and still in business today. It gives its name to the Mellerio cut, a 57-facet cut in the shape of an oval within an ellipse.
Mellerio is located on Rue de la Paix in Paris and has branches in Luxembourg and Japan. It is a member of the Comité Colbert and the Hénokiens, an international club of two-hundred-year-old family businesses. The fourteenth generation, represented by Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, now runs the family business.
